Sandy sunny beaches of Cape May... However, they tend to be inspirational, too. Do you have anything to share with the rest of the world? A dedicated poem, a story, Cape May diaries, a picture... E-mail us at info@capemaybeaches.com and we will be glad to publish it here.

Poverty Beach
by Edla Defay
Poverty Beach to Cape May Point
We trudged for miles today
Found baby crabs, some starfish
And jingles... in the spray
Confetti water, dancing, the air so salty sweet
We grab for sandbugs, splashing
The surf tugs at our feet
Our toes in sand, like children
And seagulls after fish
Our pockets bulge with clam shells
A diamond is our wish...
In dreams we stay forever
The lure of treasures... free
Come back to summer memories
At Cape May... by the sea
